1. Information we collect
We collect the mobile number or email used to sign in, an optional display name, selected map points, address labels, bid amounts, membership status, security/session information and basic service logs. Stripe handles full payment-card details; QuietPrice receives billing identifiers and subscription status. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets analytics cookies and collects usage events, approximate location, and browser and device information.
2. How we use it
We use this information to provide accounts, save and withdraw bids, show demand signals, manage membership, prevent abuse, support users and improve the early-access product. We do not sell personal data.
3. Who processes it
QuietPrice uses service providers including Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Twilio and Resend for one-time codes, Stripe for billing, and Mapbox or OpenStreetMap services for maps and address lookup. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics processes site usage information. They process data under their own security and privacy terms.
4. Sharing and visibility
During early access, other members may see aggregated demand signals. They do not see your exact bid, identity or contact details. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the service and its users.
5. Retention and security
We retain account and bid records while your account is active and as needed for security, billing and legal obligations. One-time codes expire quickly and are stored in hashed form where QuietPrice creates them. Sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies in production.
6. Your choices
You can withdraw individual bids in your account and cancel membership through the Stripe billing portal. Google Analytics is disabled until you choose to allow it, and you can change that choice using the analytics settings control.
